FELICITY, FRANK AND MARK

FFMLOGO.png

Felicity and Frank are a quiet reserved married couple of 35 years. They are happy in the little life they have built for themselves. They have two cats and sell art they buy from abroad at craft fairs. Felicity is the salesperson and Frank is admin man. They are in a cozy codependent rut.

During a frisky moment they decide to sign up to a swingers site to fulfil Felicity’s idea of a threesome. They meet Mark online, a widowed man who himself is quiet and reserved. His wife died a couple years ago and he has only now felt like he’s found closure and mourned his wife’s death and decided to have some fun which is why he himself signed up to the site, though he is struggling financially.

The three enjoy a social meet at Felicity and Marks house and have coffee. They  arrange to meet again and this time they have a threesome, it’s a very mild and timid affair.

Over a few months the three meet more times. Each time getting more comfortable in each others presence and having good passionate sex.

Felicity suddenly and unexpectedly dies. Frank is distraught. His life spirals without Felicity and he sinks to a depression.

One day mark messages Frank to see if him and Felicity would like to meet again for casual sex. Frank tells mark the sad news and he comes over to console him.

Mark offers some consolation to Frank and they arrange to meet for breakfast in town to get Frank out of the house

At the breakfast mark tells Frank he is struggling to find enough work to pay his rent and support his daughter. Frank offers mark to move in to his house which he does.

After a few teething issues like Mark not respecting Felicity’s rules that Frank insists on following whether they make total sense or not, and Frank being unresponsive to Marks jokes the men get along.

Mark finds his role in the household, he cleans the house, cooks for Frank and replaces Felicity at the market alongside him.

One night the men get drunk and have passionate sex.

The next morning they are both extremely uncomfortable and Mark moves out. Frank finds him and convinces him stay.

Over time the men have sex more and more often and soon share a bed.

Both men struggle to come to terms with the fact that they are using eachother for comfort and that they are falling in love, Frank through denial and Mark through

The men go to see Marks daughter at university and after meeting some of her open minded friends proclaim their new relationship status (to this small group).

At the market the men are confronted by other sellers who knew Felicity. They are asked out right if they are a couple to which Mark defiantly states and Frank soon follows.

The movie ends with the men defiantly holding hands in public
